The boundary between nature and the self is imagined.
To journey beneath our feet is to unearth where we're from,
and to rediscover what we are part of.

Blue Entity (Earthbody IV) is a sculpture with no beginning or end. Instead, it is a marker of the passing of time, reminding us of our bonds to the ever-changing laws of nature.

We are part of nature, not separate from it.
And we are shaped by the land as much as we shape it.

Collaborating with indigo artists TianTaru, the film follows the exploration of ancient building techniques in a process shaped by the colourful forces of nature. Blue Entity emerges as a reflection of the landscape itself, a quiet dialogue between the body, the elements, and impermanence.

This film marks the second in a series of three short films directed by @ArranGregory and @AlexanderInghamBrooke_ capturing the deeper narratives behind the encounters of the artist’s ‘Earth Body’ series - a set of experiential journeys creating from raw earth and found natural pigments whilst journeying into unique environments across Finland, UK, Spain, Bali and Borneo.
